Players in this league are offered 3 skills practices a week, with other optional opportunities for skill development (Many different clinics held at ProSkate for youth players). For that reason, many parents find our Jr. Stars House League to be an exciting, inexpensive alternative to travel hockey. Full equipment is required. What is the D-League?

The skill level is an instructional and competitive level that offers a great launching pad for players who have not played hockey in many years, or are looking to get back into the game, or simply pick up a new sport. Players at the novice level are typically working on at least two of the following hockey fundamentals: shooting, passing, skating and body control. This league is our fastest growing program at ProSkate!

Especially in hockey, there is a bonding the other sports do not match. Player to player. Parent to parent. Family to family. It’s hard to describe but easy to experience. If you are nervous about getting involved in a sport you may know very little about…don’t be. There is a support system within our facility and program that keep players coming back and striving to become better hockey players. It's all about fun and development. For any questions, please contact Scott Buzney - scottbuzney@gmail.com or call 732-940-6400.
