This program takes place at ProSkate Ice Arena.

The Learn to Play Hockey Rookie Program includes a hockey equipment starter kit for first time players. The
gear is provided by the rink and will be available at the rink prior to the first on-ice session. Each gear bag
includes a stick, helmet with cage, jersey and full equipment except skates (rental skates are available for use).
The program director will contact registered players with specific details relating to the gear sizing and
distribution.

The House League is for players who are looking for a fun recreational setting with player development and professional coaching provided. This is the next step for players who have moved through a learn to play hockey program looking to join a fun recreational league! The general commitment level is 2 practices a week and games on Sunday. ProSkate has the the ultimate recreational youth hockey league – perfect for players ages 6-16yrs.

This program will take place at East Brunswick Ice Arena.

Developed with the help of experts from USA Hockey and Hockey Canada, the Learn to Play program aims to be the gold standard for youth hockey programs wit the goal of inspiring more families to join the hockey community. Learn to Play changes the way youth hockey is offered by providing first time participants, head-to-toe equipment, weekly sessions of age appropriate on-ice instruction and certified coaching led by National Hockey League Alumni in a fun and safe atmosphere. Learn to Play on-ice practice plans have been developed in collaboration with experts from USA Hockey and Hockey Canada and are taught by certified coaches and National Hockey League Alumni.

This program is designed for first-time players only. All Learn to Play participants must have completed a Learn to Skate program prior to beginning the Learn to Play program.
